Award-winning comic, author and speaker on Self-Esteem,Bullying,and Toxic Relationships

Speaker.

I believe humour is one of the most powerful tools for learning and healing. As an award-winning comic and speaker, I shine a light on toxic relationships, self-esteem struggles, and the behaviours that hold us back. My talks are a mix of laughter, storytelling, and life-changing insights that help audiences see themselves—and their relationships—with fresh eyes.

Over the years, I’ve transformed personal experiences of people-pleasing and toxic dynamics into powerful lessons. I often talk about the “Pharaoh and Servant” roles: the controlling personalities (Pharaohs) who thrive on dominance, and the Servants who bend over backwards to please, often losing themselves in the process. These dynamics are everywhere—at work, at home, and even within ourselves.

As a speaker, I use humour and real-life stories to unpack these patterns, helping people identify them, break free, and build confidence. Whether I’m delivering a keynote, running a workshop, or telling a story from my award-winning show Big Purple Undies, my goal is simple:
to inspire change, spark resilience, and leave every audience feeling stronger and more empowered than when they walked in.

A child controls, and a parent serves – the hallmark of a household under siege and a relationship out of balance. Sound familiar? These patterns, anecdotally explained as 'Pharaoh' & 'Servant' behaviours, can lead even the very best parents to have the most difficult time with a controlling child.

Quit beating yourself up and asking, "Where did I go wrong?" "Restore Balance: When Love Becomes Control" will help you identify and overcome these controlling patterns rooted in low self-esteem. Gain clarity and the tools necessary to restore a healthy, loving relationship with your child once again.
